Short description

Sergiu-Lucian Raiu holds a PhD in Sociology and is a Lecturer at Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava, Faculty of History, Geography and Social Sciences, where he is affiliated with the Department of Humanities and Social and Political Sciences. He has over ten years of research experience, with research interests including young people’s successful transition to adulthood, school climate, and the social inclusion of children and young people, including Roma, children and young people with disabilities, and adopted children and young people. He has previously collaborated with institutions such as the Romanian Academy’s Research Institute for Quality of Life (ICCV), Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, West University of Timișoara, and Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. He has also worked with non-governmental organizations in the social sector. He currently serves as a sociologist counsellor at the COACH Centre of Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava (COACH USV).
