Robert Hohan is a biologist with academic and research experience gained during his time spent at three universities from the UK: University of Oxford, Imperial College London and University of Manchester. In 2020 he returned to Romania, and now he is part of the diagnostic and molecular research team of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Prof. Dr. Matei Balș”. His activity includes the study of both pathogens (E. coli, MTB, HIV, SARS-CoV-2) and environmental bacteria, his approach involving laboratory techniques, as well as the implementation of mathematical and statistical models.
