Luminita Silaghi-Dumitrescu is Emeritus Professor at The Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Babes- Bolyai and President of the Asociasion of Universities, Research and Development Institutes and Central University Libraries in Romania – Anelis Plus. The teaching activity was combined with the research in the field of Organometallic Chemistry. Professor Silaghi-Dumitrescu as Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Vice-Rector for Research and Publications at the Babes-Bolyai University. She is Editor-in-Chief of Studia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai – Seria Chemia. The international collaboration with researcers from France, Germany, United Kingdom, Mexic, Brasil was built on common interest for all the aspects of academic life – teaching, research, (coordinating joint Ph.D. students), management, science policies. She authored more than 170 papers, most of them in very prestgios journals. She is a member of the Consultative College for Research, Development and Innovation (CCCDI) at the Ministry of Education and Research.
