Alina Mihaela Șeitan is a school counsellor at the Prahova County Centre for Educational Resources and Assistance (CJRAE Prahova) and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy at Transilvania University of Brașov. Her professional practice is grounded in the belief that, beyond methods, tools, and technologies, counselling remains, first and foremost, an authentic encounter between people. Her interest in emerging technologies and artificial intelligence goes hand in hand with her commitment to exploring how these can support education, self-awareness, and career guidance, while keeping each student’s individual needs and uniqueness at the centre. She believes in an approach to education that does more than provide information: it creates opportunities for people to discover themselves, grow, and forge their own paths. In a world where technology can provide an ever-growing range of answers, the counsellor’s role remains profoundly human: to ask the questions that matter, provide context, and create a space in which each person can find their own answers.
