Short description

Alexandra Năstasă is (still) an idealist, passionate about education. She graduated from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Bucharest, where she pursued a double specialization in Romanian and Spanish philology at undergraduate level. She then completed a Master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Editing at the same institution, as well as both pedagogical modules required for teacher training. She loves working with students of all ages, believing that each educational level has its own beauty and advantages. Beyond the traditional path of teaching, she joined the Enformation team 10 years ago, driven by a desire to find solutions to the challenges facing Romania’s education and research system. By nature an optimist, she enjoys seeking out the positive examples within Romania’s academic community—professionals who are passionate about what they do and eager to share their best practices. Year after year, she strives to bring these inspiring people and their work to a wider audience through the Romanian International Conference for Education and Research. Last but not least, she is grateful for the opportunity to have laid the foundations of an academic journal, Research and Education, established in 2017 and initially developed as an “epilogue” to the conferences organized by the team. The publication has since grown into a journal indexed in international academic databases (BDI).
