Young highly adaptable professional and passionate lifelong shaper and maker with an entrepreneurial mind-set. Alexandra is an International Relations and Global Affairs BA graduate of The University of Nottingham and an MBA graduate of The University of Bucharest, UNESCO Chair. She has a keen-active interest in EU policy-making and in the achievement of the UN’s SDGs through creative – strategic thinking. With 4+ years of active civic engagement through formal and freelance work experiences, she is currently placing efforts towards becoming a public policy specialist or attaché in education; while aiming towards a more cohesive, innovative, digital savvy and value-driven society. As an avid learner and someone addicted to actions which have the premises to generate positive changes, she has been volunteering or working for various noble and impactful causes, specializing in the field of Global Affairs and International Cooperation within international organizations such as Aspen Institute, Greenpeace and German Marshall Fund of the United States. She is an active member of several organizations such as the Global Shapers Bucharest Hub and Ingenious Drama in the attempt to promote civic engagement, digital and artistic skills, and entrepreneurship among young people.
