Prof. dr. Adina Magda Florea is Head of the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest. She coordinates the Artificial Intelligence and Multi-Agent Systems Laboratory of the University. Her research interests are in machine learning, multi-agent systems, ambient intelligence, active and assistive living, social robots and human-robot interaction. She is Senior Member of IEEE, Senior Member of ACM, founding member and President of Romanian Association for Artificial Intelligence (ARIA), Chair of IEEE Romanian Section Chapter of Computational Intelligence Society, and Présidente du Réseau de Recherche Francophone sur l’Intelligence Artificielle (RéFIA).
