Michael Fanning is one the Ovid Training Managers based in Europe. A medical science graduate and experienced information professional he has worked with hospitals, clinics, universities and pharmaceutical companies helping medical and healthcare professionals as well as students improve their information handling skills. A specialist in the search and retrieval of information from medical databases and information systems, he has also held specialist courses on information use and re-use in the context of evidence-based medical practice. Michael is also the Project Manager for the innovative and recently instituted Ovid Train The Trainer Certification Programme.
