Short description

Dr. Florica Papa is a senior researcher in the Department of Surface Chemistry and Catalysis at the “Ilie Murgulescu” Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Romanian Academy in Bucharest. Her work spans several major research areas, including materials chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, and photocatalysis. Dr. Papa has served as project director for three national research grants and has contributed as a team member to more than 27 national and international projects. She is the co-author of 77 ISI-indexed scientific articles, two book chapters, and five patents. In addition to her research work, she is actively involved in mentoring pupils and university students participating in the volunteer training program at the Ilie Murgulescu Institute of Physical Chemistry.
