Ionel Haiduc is a Professor at the University “Babeş-Bolyai” Cluj-Napoca. His titles are: Member of the Romanian Academy and the Academia Europaea (London, England), but also Corresponding Member of the Academies from Goettingen, Berlin (Leibnitz Sozietat), Budapesta, Chișinău, Montenegro. As an Author of published books in Bucharest, New York, London, Berlin, Ionel Haiduc has written over 350 scientific articles în journals and monographic chapters in international volumes. Acad. Ionel Haiduc contributed to different chapters of the inorganic, coordination and organometallic chemistry. The chemistry of inorganic cycles remains one of his favourite research field, fact proved by his published extensive work in this sector.
